CIHA SÃO PAULO 2022
CIHA SÃO PAULO 2022 Our recommendation for January/2022 is the 35th Ciha World Congress – MOTION: Migrations, from January 17th
As our next recommendation, among the contents and resources to access, research and disseminate Non-European Art, we indicate the Mesocast project: a podcast focused on scientific dissemination, with the intention of fomenting the curiosity of the listeners about aspects related to the History of Mesoamerica.
The podcast intends to be a starting point for those who seek to know more about the Amerindian cultures of Mexico and Central America, by approaching different themes in 8 episodes, from historical-anthropological concepts to the history of chocolate. It was a project developed at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic by researcher Fernando Pesce, PhD student in History at IFCH-Unicamp and member of the Núcleo de Estudos sobre Arte Não Europeia (NEANE-Unicamp), one of our project’s course lecturers, responsible for the Amerindian Art classes in the post-graduation courses of our partner universities.
